The Light Division

The Light Division now comprises two battalions of The Light Infantry and two battalions of The Royal Green Jackets. There is a single band, the Band of the Light Division.

These four battalions are descended from thirteen original regiments, some of which had more than one battalion. The total number of bands that have existed withing the history of the regiments of The Light Division is unclear, but is probably somewhere in excess of twenty.
